Born In Jerusalem, Lily Lewit is an Israeli painter who studied art in London and has been painting for the last 30 years alongside her work as a realtor and interior designer.
In recent years, Lewit’s work is characterized by a rich palette of colors, reflecting the changing seasons.
The natural world forests, rivers, rocks-all capture her imagination. Her paintings are infused with the colors of the Israeli landscape.
Lily Lewit paints in oils on large Canvas and in her own individual style, she draws upon different schools of painting from Impressionism to Realism.
Lewit’s work is characterized by a rich palette of colors, reflecting the changing seasons. The natural world, forests, rivers, rocks – all capture her imagination. Her paintings are infused with the colors of autumn in North America and the colors of the Israeli landscape.
In searching for her own individual style, Lewit draws upon different schools of painting, from Impressionism to Realism. She paints in oils on large canvases with an array of brushes, delicately applying layer after layer until achieving the desired effect.
