This started out as something completely different, I was painting an empty beach.

I took many pictures, trying to capture a specific view I wanted to paint.   

It was very special, with tall rocks touching the water.

There was a beautiful early morning glow, a special morning light. No sun yet.

It was all clean and clear blue, No tracks on the sea sand, no sign that anyone had walked there.

I loved it.

But as I began to paint, I made a mistake, It was very hard to change on the big canvas, So I just kept going and ended up with something else.

Something that looks like a peacock.

So there you have it:  The peacock dance.
